FREKWENSI PENYARINGAN TERHADAP PENYERAPAN LOGAM KROMIUM LIMBAH INDUSTRI BUBUT

Lathe industry is a producer dangerouse heavy metal waste, one of them hexavalent chromium. Hexavalent chromium is hazardous metal, that has high levels of toxins and carcinogens which can cause cancer. so it is necessary to minimize the chromium liquid waste by means of absorption. this research is focussed of the performance of the absorber column tannins and bentonite mixture with a ratio of period 1 : 3. sample that used is liquid waste that produced by lathe industry. flow rate used is 2,22 1/ hour per five time the filtering. the result of this research shows that the highest cromium absorption occurs in the first filtering that is 80,57%. basic concept of design of the research that will be conducted using systematic working order, logical, structured and can be analyzed scientifically. firstly, chromium waste collection result from turning will be processed through the absorber to lowered the concentration of cromium waste. furthermore, the preparation of the working methodology was done for the laboratory scale test- absorption.
