MENGETAHUI NILAI PARAMETER AIR SUNGAI TELANG AKIBAT AKTIVITAS INDUSTRI HULU DI GASING

South Sumatera is one of the provinces in Indonesia that owns various recourses from agricultural product, for example, coffee, rubber, oil palms etc. In the development program of the harbour area of Tanjung Api-Api the government also builds space for different industries, above all agricultural industries. The existence of agricultural industries has to be though as an impact for the future. The industrial area is planned for the sub district of Muara Telang and Banyuasin II, which is close to the Telang River with many streams, much natural forest and wildlife that still needs to be protected. For the result of examination, it is considered that BOD parameter, down stream region of Talang river in recede times has reached 4.12 in value and in yoke time has reached 2.01 in value. Result of examination in Gasing river has higher enough of parameter, suchas TSS, BOD, and fatoil.
