Banana skin that was originally only be only waste can now be used as a source of biomass. One of the most famous manufacture of ethanol is fermentation. This study was conducted to obtain bio ethanol from waste banana peel MUBA district of South Sumatra fermentation using yeast tape. In this study, the variable used is the ratio of yeast (8g, 10g, 12g, 14g), the addition of nutrients NPK (1g, 1.5g, 2g, 2.5g), and fermentation time(4days,6days, 8days, 10days).In this study showed that the addition of bio ethanol best yeast 12g, 2g of NPK, and the long fermentation period of 8 days. With percent average error for the variable addition of yeast 89.185%, to increase the amount of NPK nutrients variable 88.135%, while for the variable length of fermentation 88.975%.
