HUBUNGAN ANTARA DUKUNGAN SOSIAL DENGAN DEPRESI PADA PASIEN GAGAL GINJAL YANG MENJALANI HEMODIALISIS

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine empirically the relationship between social support with depression in patients with renal failure undergoing hemodialysis in RSUP. Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a negative relationship between social support with depression in patients with renal failure who undergo hemodialysis, where the higher the social support more low-depressed patients with renal failure who undergo hemodialysis, conversely the lower the social support the higher depression of renal failure patients who underwent hemodialysis in RSUP. Dr. Mohammad Hoesin.The conclusion of the research data was there is a negative relationship between social support with depression in patients with renal failure undergoing hemodialysis in RSPU. Obtained from the results of r = 0.722 and p = .000 which means p <0.01 means that more negative or less social support, the higher depression in patients with renal failure undergoing hemodialysis.
