FLUKTUASI HARGA SAHAM PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI PASCA TRAGEDI LEDAKAN BOM SARINAH

Abstract

Terrorism is closely related to the economic stability in a country. The existence of political event which threaten a country stability, such as bombing terror tend to get a negative respond from the investors. In this research, Sarinah Bombing presumed influencing the fluctuation of stock price, especially manufacturing companies which is listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research try to see and compare how far is the tragedy influencing the fluctuation of manufacturing company stock prices right after and before the tragedy of Sarinah Bombing was happening in Jakarta, on January 14, 2016. Based on the result, the 7 manufacturing companies that consist of 2 on Top Gainer and 5 on Top Loser, experienced declining of stock price more frequent after the tragedy than before the tragedy and experienced raising of stock price more frequent before the tragedy than after the tragedy.
