Abstract

Reading is a process that is done to obtain the messages, information or matter of reading to make reading activities into a penchant for things that should be owned by a person is fond of reading. The problem now, how to grow a fondness reading in early childhood. The purpose of this paper is to describe the effort to grow the hobby reading in early childhood. Penchant reading in early childhood can be done with games that can stimulate the activity of reading in children to be fun, like travel games, cards quartet, game snakes and ladders and ludo game, than play the role of parents is very important in the effort to grow the hobby read on early childhood, since before the children were in formal environments, they've been in the family of non-formal environment..
