Abstract


This paper aims to describe the results obtained from the assessment or evaluation of the Indonesian textbook SMP class is used by junior high school students of class VII in Palembang. This result was used Evaluation Language Coursebook theory by Cunningsworth. Based on the research and the results of the questionnaire is known that the Indonesian textbooks used in class VII are in accordance with the needs of the students in accordance with the goals and objectives of the teaching programs, may reflect the use of effective language appropriate to the purpose, to consider the needs of students as learners and facilitated in the absence of coercion, and can act as a supporting teaching.
