Abstract


Contextual Teaching and Learning is a concept that links between the learning materials with students real-world situations, encourage students to make connections between the knowledge possessed by its application in daily life. The goal of research to see whether or not there is influence of contextual learning on students' understanding of concepts in learning Analysis Information Systems. Variables in the study of students' understanding of concepts being taught contextual (variables X1) and understanding of concepts that students are not taught contextual variables (X2). Data analysis was performed to test the hypothesis regarding the presence or absence of the influence of the variable being studied is to use the t test (Student distribution). The conclusion that contextual learning affects students' understanding of concepts in learning to breast milk as the average value between the experimental class (KA4A) the class is taught contextually with the value 64.46 is better than the average value of the control class (KA41) is a class that is not taught contextual value of 49.37.
