Abstract


Education is essentially a process of communication. In some ways, that in the process of lesson material delivery, involve elements of communication. To achieve the goal of communication in the educational process, verbal communication alone is not enough, using visual communication tools infocus is one of the ways used by teachers in teaching and learning activities. It aims to provide the same perception of the students on course material delivered so the purpose of teaching and learning activities can be achieved. The subject of experiments in this study were high school students of class XI Science Lessons country eight Palembang Year 2010/2011 which amounted to 40 people. Consists of two classes, which provided treatment (experimental class) and class experiments that are not given treatment (control class). Results showed that visual communication has communication has a good influence in teaching and learning activities.
