Abstract


Extensive reading is to read widely, read as much reading material in the shortest possible time. Extensive reading help in obtaining a second language learners. Extensive reading can be used as a tool for learners in the acquisition of inputs in a very large number. It is clear that the role of extensive reading is very greatly to the learner in second language acquisition, can assist learners in acquiring a second language, can be used as reinforcement in the control of second language, the learner can obtain as much input as possible so that can improve the quality of the monitor to the output second language, as a tool for acculturation, the learner can improve his knowledge of language and second language can foster motivation to learn second language.
